Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 9, 2026
1. Introduction
Nutritiffin ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you visit our website, join our waitlist, use our contact form, interact with email verification links, or are invited to internal mobile-app testing. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Pre-registration. We have not yet established a final registered legal entity. We plan to incorporate and complete related compliance when and if we validate market demand and proceed toward commercial operations at a scale where those steps are appropriate. Until we publish a registered entity name and details on this page, personal data may be controlled by the founders or team operating the Nutritiffin project. That pre-launch period may last a long time. We will update this policy when our corporate structure and statutory contact details are available.
This policy applies to information processed through our public website and the backend services we use to operate waitlist sign-ups, contact requests, related communications, and adding you as an internal tester (for example supplying your email to an app store). It does not replace or summarise the privacy policy and other legal notices for our mobile application(s), which are provided in the app, in the app store listing, or at install/first launch. Data collected through or on the device inside the app is described there, not on this page.
2. Information we collect
Waitlist. When you join the waitlist, we collect the details you submit: your name, email address, phone number, pincode or location-related information you provide, and whether you are signing up as a customer ("user") or as a chef/partner. We use this to manage interest, plan launch communications, understand demand by area and role, and—if you are selected—to support internal app testing as described below.
Internal app testing (Google Play). If we invite you to test our app, we use the email address (and, where needed, the name associated with your waitlist entry) to add you as an internal tester in Google Play Console. Google then sends the install/test link and processes your account data under Google's own privacy policy and terms. We do not add every waitlist email—only a subset we select for a given test round. A typical internal testing period may last on the order of approximately twelve (12) to fifteen (15) days, but timing can vary. After testing ends or you are removed, Google may retain data according to its policies. After you install the app, personal data handled inside the application is explained in the in-app / store privacy documentation, not in this website policy.
Contact form. If you contact us through the website, we collect the information you enter (typically name, email, subject, and message) so we can respond.
Email verification. If we send you a link to verify your email, opening that link may send a verification token to our systems so we can confirm your address and reduce abuse.
Automatic data. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, and pages visited. We use this for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics.
Cookies and similar technologies. We or our providers may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies where needed for site functionality, preferences, or analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Website imagery. Some images on the site may be AI-assisted or AI-generated for illustration. Those images are not personal data about you unless you voluntarily submit similar content to us.
3. Purposes of processing
- Waitlist and pre-launch communications. To register your interest, confirm or deduplicate sign-ups, notify you about launch timing, early access, offers, and product updates, and to improve our rollout planning by region and audience type.
- Internal testing. To select a limited group of waitlist members, register their emails with Google Play (or another app distribution platform) for closed internal testing, and to communicate about the test. Selection is discretionary; most waitlist members will not be chosen for a given round.
- Email. To send transactional and marketing messages you have agreed to receive when joining the waitlist or otherwise opting in, including testing invitations, and to honor unsubscribe requests.
- Support and inquiries. To read and respond to messages sent through our contact form.
- Security and integrity. To detect fraud, abuse, spam, or technical issues and to protect our users and systems.
- Legal compliance. To comply with applicable law, regulation, or lawful requests.
- Improvement. To understand how the site and pre-release products are used in aggregate and to improve content and experience.
4. Legal basis (India)
We process personal data based on your consent where required (for example, marketing emails, waitlist communications, and—where we rely on consent—registration of your email with an app store for internal testing), and otherwise where necessary to provide the services you request, pursue legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights (such as security and product improvement), or to comply with legal obligations. If you are in India, our practices are designed to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules, including respect for your choices and rights described below.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers who assist us under instructions—for example email delivery, hosting, analytics, or customer support tools. They may only use the data to perform services for us.
- Google (Google Play) when we add your email as an internal tester so Google can send invites and operate distribution. Google acts under its own terms and privacy policy as well as our testing configuration.
- Authorities or others if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention
We keep waitlist and contact information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above, including operating the waitlist through launch and follow-up, running internal tests (including the approximate 12–15 day windows we typically use for a Play internal test phase, plus reasonable setup and wrap-up), unless you ask us to delete it earlier and we have no overriding legal reason to retain it. Logs and backups may be retained for a limited period for security and compliance. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where feasible.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords where accounts exist in the future and to report suspicious activity to us.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information; withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; object to or restrict certain processing; and port data where applicable. You may opt out of promotional emails using the link in those emails or by contacting us. If you wish not to be considered for future internal testing, you may tell us when you contact us or unsubscribe from testing-related messages where offered. To exercise other rights or raise a concern, please use our Contact page. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority where available.
9. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 18 (or the age of majority in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. International transfers
Our servers and service providers may be located in India or other countries. App-store operators such as Google may process data globally under their policies. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take steps consistent with applicable law to ensure appropriate protection.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example by email or a banner on the site).
12. Contact
For privacy-related requests or questions, contact us via the details on our Contact page.
